Felix Doubront (10-5 this season) will look to lead Boston to back to back wins against the Yankees tonight.
Well, well, The Boston Red Sox (49-50) and Aaron Cook will face-off against Phil Hughes and the New York Yankees (59-39). The Red Sox are 1-5 against the Yankees this season.
Needless, to say this is going to be a big series for Boston. If they lose this series or get swept they will most likely become sellers and trade away pieces from the team.
I along with many other Sox fans believe that either way they should trade players from this years roster. Trading Beckett and Lackey would be atop the list, I don’t mind Crawford so much but he is pricey so we mine as well move him if possible.
With the Patriots starting training camp it almost seems as if the Red Sox are done…..let’s hope not. Go Boston!
Aaron Cook was “cooking” early but once the Blue Jays got Cook to the 6th inning, they had their way with the former Colorado Rockie.
Salty provided the only runs of the game for the Red Sox when he hit a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 2nd inning to score Gonzo and Ross.
Luckily for Red Sox nation, they will get another shot at the Blue Jays early Sunday afternoon. But unfortunately, Jon Lester will be on the hill for Boston, who is only 5-7 with a 4.80 ERA this season.
The Red Sox need to turn it around quick or they will put themselves in a big hole soon. At some point they must put Baltimore,Tampa Bay and Toronto in their rear view mirror or there might just be the implosion that everyone is expecting.
It’s true Aaron Hernandez was in attendance at the Murray Center in Providence for last night’s Rhode Island College basketball game where they took on West Connecticut. Many students took pictures with the Patriots tight end while others just took to their tweeter accounts.
Jenny Dell is the new face of Red Sox Nation!!! She is beautiful! We will miss you Heidi Watney but we do love our new girl!!!!!
Jenny Dell is a Umass graduate and her former gig was with the X games!!! This chick rocks!!!
It is time for our Boston Red Sox to kick some butt and Jenny is coming along for the ride!
Here we go again!!! The Boston Celtics will welcome the Los Angeles Lakers to TD Garden tonight. Tip-off is at 8pm. The Celtics will try to season-high winning streak to six games.
The Lakers are 3-9 and are currently on a season-high six game road trip.
Both Kobe Bryant and Paul Pierce got some great accomplishments out of the way before this matchup. Kobe passed Shaquille O’Neal for fifth place on the NBA’s career scoring list and Paul passed Larry Bird to become the 2nd highest scorer in Boston Celtics history behind only John Havlicek.
The New England Patriots are favored by 20.5 points against the Indianapolis Colts. What do you ya think? Do you think the Pats will cover? If your a better man, what team are you taking?
