It’s true Aaron Hernandez was in attendance at the Murray Center in Providence for last night’s Rhode Island College basketball game where they took on West Connecticut. Many students took pictures with the Patriots tight end while others just took to their tweeter accounts.

Here we go again!!! The Boston Celtics will welcome the Los Angeles Lakers to TD Garden tonight. Tip-off is at 8pm. The Celtics will try to season-high winning streak to six games.
The Lakers are 3-9 and are currently on a season-high six game road trip.
Both Kobe Bryant and Paul Pierce got some great accomplishments out of the way before this matchup. Kobe passed Shaquille O’Neal for fifth place on the NBA’s career scoring list and Paul passed Larry Bird to become the 2nd highest scorer in Boston Celtics history behind only John Havlicek.

Well they are only giving him a 2-year contract and not paying him very much so that already doesn’t look too promising.
He seems very controversial to me and I really don’t know what’s gonna happen in that Boston dugout.

Allen Iverson to the Boston Celtics?
Allen Iverson has said that he would like to play for the Celtics. Iverson’s manager Gary Moore told the Boston Globe that his client would be interested in playing for any team in the NBA but that Boston was particularly attractive to him because of Danny Ainge, the organization and he has great respect for Coach Doc Rivers and the current roster of players.
Well right now it doesn’t look like there will be a season for the NBA but once there is, don’t be surprised to see the Celtics front office make a serious push for Allen Iverson.
Heidi Watney will be the next Red Sox to leave. Watney is leaving the Red Sox for a gig with the Los Angeles Lakers. Apparently this was a mutual agreement by both sides.
Is anyone safe in Boston anymore!? Heidi will surely be missed by Sox fans.
The Boston Red Sox have made a contract offer to David Ortiz. The specifics of the offer are not known. The Red Sox general manager Ben Cherington indicated last Friday that he has maintained with Ortiz’s representatives.
Ortiz’s agent Fernando Cuza is scheduled to meet tonight with the Red Sox and the Orioles at the general managers meetings in Milwaukee.
Ortiz turns 36 this Friday, he earned $12.5 million this season while batting .309 with 29 home runs and 96 RBI in 605 plate appearances.
Tom Brady threw 3 touchdown passes including two to tight end Rob Gronkowski as the Patriots cruised by the New York Jets Sunday night 37-16 and took control of the AFC East.
Jonathan Papelbon has agreed to a $50 million dollar, 4 year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. That’s the largest amount ever for a reliever.
Papelbon, who turns 31 on Nov. 23, had 219 saves over seven seasons with the Red Sox, including 31 this year, when he made $12 million. He will replace Ryan Madson, who also is a free agent.
It looks like Daniel Bard will be handed the closing role for Boston this upcoming season.
